Defragmenting PC Hard Disk Drive

Your PC stores all files in it’s hard disk drive in an organized manner but when you keep using it, the file structure gets disorganized. After saving and deleting files in a regular process, computer tends to save the new files in random available locations and as the result, files of a single program gets broken up over multiple locations on your hard disk. This kind of file structure is known as fragmentation. Having more fragmented files will result in a slower PC performance and affects system stability.

Disk Defragmenter helps improving system stability by reorganizing the files and replacing them as contiguous blocks. This makes programs work faster as the associated files are arranged closely together. Built-in Windows Disk Defragmenter checks the log file to determine frequently used programs and rearranges programs accordingly to reduce the time period during those programs start ups.
