Roughly 37 Percent of US Android Phones are 4G-Enabled

 

4G is the next communication that every Mobile users going to have in short time. This future connectivity adopts the new high-speed protocols at a service of 100 Mbit/s. Localytics, Boston based software company has recently analyzed the hottest data in the third quarter of 2011 that the US Android phone users supports 36.6% of 4G network.

4G technologies include WiMax, LTE, and HSPA+ in US as ITU announced in December 2010. Looking at the chart we can analyze that the use of 4G have rapidly increased with a growth rate of 50 % i.e. the full third of the Android ecosystem. In the first quarter we can see that the bar has raised 22.6%  less compared to second quarter which positions 31.2% in the chart subsequently 36.6% in the third quarters.

As we can see the US 4G popular Android devices list and explore that HTC Thunderbolt by Verizon is ranked 1 and the HTC EVo 4G by carrier Sprint stood second in the popularity list. Samsung Epic 4G by sprint and so on listed continues with other 6 stupefying 4G Smartphones by T-mobile & AT&T respectively. We can glimpse more of Sprint’s and Verizon’s 4G Android Smartphones in the list.
